Carnival groups

Carnival is a major part of life in Guadeloupe, and the groups that keep it going are gathered here under the Carnival sub-section of the Association category. This page brings together six published listings spread across six communes: Les Abymes, Baie-Mahault, Sainte-Rose, Basse-Terre, Pointe-à-Pitre and Moule. Each entry points you to a local association involved in carnival culture, whether through music, costumes, parades or the organisation of festivities.
The listings cover both the urban centres and the wider territory. Pointe-à-Pitre, Les Abymes and Baie-Mahault sit in the dense eastern cluster of the island, while Basse-Terre anchors the south-west, Sainte-Rose the north-west coast and Moule the Atlantic shore. That spread means you can find a group close to where you are staying rather than travelling across the island.
Use the entries to identify the group that matches your interest, then contact it directly for details on its activity, rehearsals or participation in carnival events. The directory only lists published records; the associations themselves are the right people to answer practical questions.
