Kenedy is a singer born in Guadeloupe in Les Abymes, into a family originally from the Basse-Terre region. Her music-loving parents immersed her in a musical environment from a very young age. When she was only 6 years old, young Kenedy began performing live on stage. Her performances led her to join a group known as "Légende".

A few years later, the teenager joined the group "Liaison". Growing gradually accustomed to recording studios, Kenedy recorded her first album, which was released in 1996. Her growing reputation in Guadeloupe allowed her to collaborate with many artists, such as David and Corinne, Ruddy Gustant, Kaysha and Organiz. She even performed exceptionally with genuine Guadeloupean stars such as Patrick Saint Eloi during a television show, and Joëlle Ursull, for whom she sang backing vocals.

Beyond her singing talents, Kenedy is a complete artist, having received professional dancer training for several years. Despite a still rather limited reputation, her many talents allow her to be involved in numerous artistic projects in which she takes on every role: composer, songwriter, performer and backing vocalist.

She can thus be found in 2005 on the compilation "More Love", where she co-wrote the track "Bouge" alongside Rokhenza. A year later, in 2006, it was on the compilation "Bien Glacé" that she wrote a track with a more personal tone, "Il est". The song is indeed dedicated to the father of her child DeejaySlam, himself a musician, whom she mentions in the song as "the fruit of their much-desired love". She also composed, on that same compilation, the tracks "Entre nous" for Soumia, "Vini" for singer Tina, and "Affronter" for V-Ro.

It was not until the first half of 2007 that the Guadeloupean singer finally gained the recognition she deserved, with 2 tracks that met with more clear-cut success: "Dadou", found on the compilation "Fanm Péyi", where she does not hide the musical influence of Tanya Saint Val, and "J'ai mis du temps", which can be heard on a second compilation, "Section Zouk Party 2".

That same year, in July, she released an album entirely produced by DeejaySlam, entitled "Mon Oasis". Several tracks from the album won over the public, as "Mon Oasis", the eponymous single, but also "Ce Mardi" and "Reviens-moi" (which received the award for best music video in 2008) met with clear success.

Only two years later, in July 2009, Kénédy returned with a new album entitled "Entre toi et moi". She collaborated on it with many artists, first and foremost DeejaySlam, but also VR6, Kaysha, Steeve Pierre-Louis, Thierry Delannay, Michel Ménard, Traxx, Joel Roch, Jeck Charbonnier (better known by the nickname Shaalkeen'Style), Medhy Custos, Lorenz, Eleeza R., K-rolyn', Steven Morris, Stanisky and Willy William. The album's first single is entitled "Cours toujours".

In 2012, Kenedy showed a new, more assertive side, returning with a track co-composed and written with Daly and Mister Francky, with the participation of Ali Angel, entitled "Fallin' in love", produced by Aztec musique. Then in 2013, the "Femmes Fatales" concept invited her to share a featuring with Lylah (formerly of Les Déesses), namely the single "Femmes Fatales 3", which met with real success with the public and definitively established her touch in her musical universe.

After releasing the track "À la folie", again produced by DeejaySlam, Kenedy decided to fulfill a long-held wish: to create her own music label, XVXV Avenue.

Kenedy, now an artist-producer, presented a new single in January 2017, "ECHO", which opens visually
